For our F&B team at Volkshaus Basel, we are looking for a Purchasing & Inventory Staff member (m/f/d) 60% by arrangement.
You ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From goods receipt to warehouse organisation and administrative support of the F&B team, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our hotel guests, the Brasserie with Imi Bar, and our diverse events are always optimally supplied.
Your mission:
- Professional control of all incoming goods
- Proper storage of food, beverage, and non-food items
- Organisation and management of our storage areas
- Provision of drinks and consumables for the restaurant, bar, and event areas
- Independent ordering of food, beverage, and non-food items according to specifications
- Support with assortment maintenance
- Checking delivery notes
- Organisation of empties, containers, and returns
- Waste management for the entire operation
- Conducting warehouse checks and inventories
What scores with you:
- Completed vocational training, ideally in gastronomy or hospitality
- Several years of experience in warehouse logistics or inventory management
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style
- Physical resilience and enjoyment of practical work
- Well-groomed appearance
- Sense of order and cleanliness
- Good IT user skills (MS Office suite)
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Hands-on mentality and team spirit
