Apprentice Care and Support Assistant AFP
Want to learn a meaningful profession, serving others and at the heart of care? Become an ASA AFP apprentice within our teams from 16 August 2027!
Context
The University Hospital Centre of Vaud (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Sylvana University Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre (CUTR) is located in Epalinges.
The care offered in treatment and rehabilitation centres aims to accelerate or enable a return home. It also helps patients recover physical or cognitive functions affected by illness or accident, or allows them to adapt to their new condition.
In this sense, the mission of CUTR Sylvana is part of the home care policy of the canton of Vaud.
Interprofessional collaboration is the essential operating element of CUTR as it allows the patient to be supported as a whole, taking into account their environment.
