Attractive working conditions are important to us, even with irregular working hours. For this, you can train at the fitness centre during the week, enjoy the sun at the outdoor pool, shop without queuing – simply make your leisure time more flexible. On-call, night and weekend work are additionally compensated. Depending on assignments, we pay an additional 300 to 700 CHF per month. You also receive 10-30% time surcharges. This means you can compensate these time surcharges with leisure time. What you can achieve.
- You are looking for an exciting, varied and diverse task with which you can make a valuable contribution to SBB customers? Large and modern machines fascinate you as much as responsible and complex tasks.
- In your new role, depending on your qualification and know-how, you take care of the construction, maintenance and servicing of railway technical systems such as overhead lines, tracks, points, barriers, signals or train control systems. - As a team player, you help to quickly locate and resolve disruptions. You like to pitch in and enjoy working outdoors in all seasons. In the team, you master demanding, mainly mechanical/craft tasks on our systems. In doing so, you make a valuable contribution so that our customers arrive punctually and safely at their destination.
- You see irregular working hours (sometimes also at weekends) and/or shift work as an advantage for your flexible leisure time.
What you bring with you.
- A high sense of responsibility and safety awareness is natural for you. Teamwork and community are just as important to you as they are to us. In our industry, team players are the key to shared success.
- You like to pitch in and are open to new digital tools. Continuous further training is a matter of course for you. You look forward to internal training and further education with full pay.
- You have completed a basic mechanical-craft apprenticeship EBA or EFZ (production mechanic, polymechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, general mechanic, locksmith in the construction industry or similar professions, e.g. landscape gardener).
- To be able to perform on-call duty, you hold a category B driving licence. Unrestricted hearing and vision as well as good health are prerequisites.
