Social Worker - Joint ORP-CSR Unit - Assistant (80%)

The Social Service of the City of Lausanne (SSL) provides social and financial support to Lausanne residents in difficulty. It is the Regional Social Centre (CSR) responsible for implementing the Vaud Social Action Law (LASV) and granting the Integration Income (RI) in Lausanne, one of the cantonal social aids. The Joint ORP-CSR Unit brings together within the same team personnel advisers from the Regional Employment Office and social workers from the Regional Social Centre who jointly support social aid beneficiaries.

To support the existing team, we are looking for a social worker.

Duration

Assistant contract for a duration of 6 months

Main Mission(s)

Conduct annual interviews (AI) with beneficiaries, assessing their situation and ensuring the related administrative follow-up

Identify situations requiring the opening of social support following the annual interviews and ensure follow-up in collaboration with the head of the social support service (APSO)

Manage a portfolio, provide social follow-up for beneficiaries and implement the necessary actions to achieve the set objectives

Profile

Bachelor's degree in social work or equivalent qualification

Professional experience (including internship) in a social service and/or in the field of professional reintegration is an asset

Good knowledge of the Vaud social network and social insurances

Adaptability

Interest in teamwork and peer supervision

Proficiency in MS Office tools
