Senior Physician or Deputy Senior Physician for the On-Call Service – HFR Tafers

Your Tasks

• Medical care of outpatients with diverse medical, surgical and trauma-related conditions
• Close collaboration with general practitioners from the region as well as with HFR internal and external specialist physicians to ensure optimal patient care
• Supervision and support of assistant physicians in training
• Contribution to the further education and training of assistant physicians in training
• Participation in clinical teaching for medical students at the University of Fribourg (block courses and elective study year)

Your Profile

• Motivated, committed and team-oriented personality holding the FMH title in General Internal Medicine (or imminent acquisition planned) or equivalent, recognised further training in Switzerland
• Didactic skills and enjoyment in imparting knowledge and training physicians in further education
• German and/or French speaking (oral and written). Good knowledge of the other language (at least level B2) is an advantage
• Experience in emergency medicine as well as in the care of simple trauma and surgical patients is desirable
• Interest in ultrasound diagnostics, preferably with completed basic course in abdominal sonography and basic emergency sonography
