As a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, you are a sparring partner for management and C-level executives when it comes to positioning cyber security as a strategic enabler. You combine technical knowledge, consulting experience, and business understanding, lead demanding projects, and actively shape the further development of our cyber security services.This is what your job will look like
- Development of security strategies, roadmaps, and governance structures that meet business goals, regulatory requirements, and technical realities.
- Positioning cyber security as an integral part of digitalization, transformation, and innovation.
- Leading assessments, audits, risk analyses, and incident response mandates with a focus on business impact.
- Moderating workshops with departments, management, and C-level to create a shared understanding of opportunities and risks.
- Supporting our clients in building and operating ISMS, data protection, and compliance processes.
- Active participation in expanding and further developing our consulting and service portfolio.
- Active support of the sales organization within the offer process, e.g., developing solution concepts, participating in customer meetings, shaping offers, and participating in offer presentations.
- Coaching and mentoring younger consultants.
What you should bring
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable education (university/FH/HF), alternatively a MAS in Cyber Security.
- Several years of experience (5–7 years+) in information security and cyber security, ideally with a focus on consulting and project management.
- Solid knowledge of common standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, etc.) as well as practical experience with modern technologies and platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud security architectures.
- Experience in building and operating ISMS, data protection, and risk management processes as well as knowledge of GRC frameworks.
- Ideally relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, GIAC, etc.) or willingness to obtain them promptly.
- Strong communication and presentation skills as well as confident appearance at management and C-level.
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form (French is an advantage).
