Receptionist in Endocrinology and Diabetology Consultation
The Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Service is seeking a receptionist for the endocrinology and diabetology consultation at CHUV with an 80% workload, for an indefinite duration. The starting date is scheduled for 1 November 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
Attached to the CHUV Department of Medicine, the Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Service specialises in endocrinology, diabetes, lipids, obesity as well as eating behaviour and nutrition disorders. Our approach is multidisciplinary, patient-centred, with cutting-edge clinical practice based on the latest advances in medical research.
Mission
You welcome, inform and guide patients throughout their journey
You manage telephone calls, emails and the service’s mail
You organise appointments and patient summons
You ensure the administrative follow-up of outpatient consultations
You prepare consultations and ensure proper maintenance of patient files
You coordinate administrative exchanges with the various desk stakeholders
You guarantee reliable information transmission and confidentiality compliance
You actively contribute to the smooth running of the service and teamwork.
Profile
You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
You have experience in an administrative role, ideally in a hospital setting
You have experience in reception and customer relations
You are proficient with common IT tools
- You are quick and efficient, able to manage several tasks simultaneously and set priorities
You enjoy contact with patients and stand out for your welcoming manner, kindness and benevolence
- You demonstrate discretion, rigour and a strong sense of organisation
You appreciate teamwork and contribute to a positive collaborative atmosphere.
