Deputy Head of Finance 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is a leading Swiss company in the field of vehicle glass services and is looking for a committed individual as Deputy Head of Finance (m/f/d) at 100%.

In this position, you can expect the following tasks:

• Deputising for and actively supporting the finance management in all finance-related matters

• Ensuring the proper management of financial accounting

• Professional advice and support in accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting

• Competent provision of information to customers and suppliers by telephone

• Active participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Support in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting

• Monitoring, ensuring and continuously developing the internal control system (ICS)

• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements

• Central contact person for auditors as well as internal and external stakeholders

• Participation in cross-departmental projects as well as in process optimisations and digitalisation initiatives in the finance area

• Preparation of analyses, evaluations and well-founded decision-making bases for management

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed commercial training

• Further training in finance and accounting with a Swiss federal diploma or higher business qualification (HF/FH)

• Many years of experience in finance and accounting

• Solid knowledge in accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting as well as in closing tasks

• Experience with internal control systems (ICS) and compliance requirements

• Leadership experience desirable

• Independent, precise, structured and solution-oriented approach

• Strong affinity for numbers and a high sense of responsibility

• Service-oriented and communicative personality

• Team spirit, resilience and confidentiality

• Very good German and French skills, spoken and written

• Italian language skills an advantage
