You can make an impact
- Management of the Water Ecology department within our Urban Water Engineering team
- Conducting aquatic and terrestrial field surveys and mappings
- Water ecological consulting for revitalization and flood protection projects
- Assessment of the water status of standing and flowing waters within the framework of monitoring, impact controls, and urban drainage projects
- GEP subproject Water: Conducting water ecological investigations and assessment of wastewater discharge points into standing and flowing waters
- Project management and customer support (specialist offices of federal, cantonal, and municipal authorities)
- Daily collaboration in the interdisciplinary team with our water ecologists and engineers aiming for a holistic view of the water body and optimal results for water protection
Your skills are
- You have a completed ETH or FH education, specializing in environmental engineering, or natural sciences, biology, geography, or a similar field
- You have several years of professional experience in the fields of water ecology, water and nature conservation
- You enjoy working in a team and are willing to take on entrepreneurial responsibility; initiative and independent work are desired
- You have experience in project management and collaboration with clients and authorities
- You have good knowledge of aquatic organisms (macrozoobenthos, aquatic plants); knowledge of other species groups is desirable
- You have already gained practical experience in hydraulic engineering projects and ideally have also been involved in revitalizations of flowing waters
- You possess analytical thinking skills as well as experience handling GIS data
- You are confident in spoken and written German
