What is my role?

• Responsibility for the development and implementation of purchasing strategies and product group concepts to ensure a high-performance supply chain

• Building and managing a global supplier portfolio

• Conducting international negotiations on prices and contracts

• Scouting new technologies and innovative procurement solutions in close coordination with research and development

• Creating data analyses as well as establishing key performance indicator systems and reporting as a basis for strategic decision-making

• Responsibility for optimisation projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs throughout the entire supply chain

• Managing project-related procurement of prototypes as well as leading cross-departmental projects

What do I need to be successful?

• Technical basic training with business management further education (HF or FH)

• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing

• IT and data affinity as well as experience in project management

• Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and analytical thinking
