Your team
Operations provide secure and efficient processing of Pictet’s banking transactions and investment funds. Our teams ensure all activities follow regulations and manage risks.
By developing and maintaining a modern, robust infrastructure, we guarantee reliable, high-quality services for Pictet wealth management, asset management and real estate clients.
Within the Reconciliation Department, you will join the Derivatives Reconciliation team, which is responsible for the daily reconciliation and monitoring of all listed and OTC derivatives transactions, including collateral and the cash movements related to these activities.
Your role
• Perform daily reconciliations and follow up of ETD and OTC derivatives transactions, positions, cash and collateral, and resolve breaks and pending items.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness and consistency of all reconciliation outputs.
• Apply internal procedures and control standards in line with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Share relevant information with team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Handle queries related to derivatives reconciliations and provide professional support to internal and external counterparts.
• Identify and propose process improvements to streamline workflows and strengthen controls.
• Maintain accurate and up to date procedures, process documentation and reconciliation records.
• Investigate operational issues, contribute to root cause analyses and support corrective actions.
• Proactively identify, assess and escalate operational risks linked to derivatives reconciliations.
Your profile
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics or equivalent work experience in the financial industry.
• 3–6 years’ experience in banking operations or asset servicing; previous exposure to derivatives products and/or reconciliations is a strong asset.
• Strong interest in derivatives and good understanding of their mechanics (listed and OTC).
• Very good analytical skills, high attention to detail and ability to manage priorities and handle critical situations.
• Client and service oriented mindset, with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and provide high quality support.
• Strong team spirit, adaptability and willingness to learn in a changing technological and regulatory environment.
• Good digital literacy and interest in innovation; keen to use and suggest new technological solutions to improve processes.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); any additional language is an advantage.
