The University Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology offers inpatient, day-patient, outpatient and outreach services for patients with psychiatric disorders who are in custody or undergoing treatment due to court-ordered measures. Patients on a civil legal basis are also treated if the disorder suggests treatment in forensic psychiatry due to the expertise available there. You can expect an exciting and varied field of work in acute psychiatry, collaboration in a dedicated nursing and treatment team, as well as a wide range of internal and external training opportunities.

Your tasks
- You take on the holistic care and support of patients with psychiatric disorders in the penal system
- You promote and support trainees and students from various training areas
- You actively contribute to improving the quality of care and the further development of the nursing profession
- You work closely in the interprofessional team
- You implement milieu-therapeutic approaches to the daily routine of the patients
Your profile
- You have several years of experience in the forensic psychiatric field and/or in acute psychiatry
- You bring high resilience and social competence
- You have experience in key worker roles and in implementing the nursing process
- You have interest and experience in aggression management and de-escalation
- You are interested in working with patient groups in a milieu-therapeutic setting
- You are motivated for a partnership-based, interdisciplinary collaboration
- You are proficient in German and can ideally converse in French or English in a business context
