Database Engineer from 80%

Work location: Zurich region & remote work, part-time from 80% possible

In our agile environment, you work together with experienced colleagues on modern database platforms and ensure that our business-critical systems are operated securely, stably and performantly.

YOUR TASKS

• You take end-to-end responsibility for the operation and further development of our database platforms throughout the entire lifecycle - from provisioning through operation and further development to decommissioning.
• You ensure stable and secure operation of our databases and support on-call and 3rd-level support if necessary. You monitor our systems and detect risks and problems early.
• You work closely with engineering, architecture and security teams and contribute your expertise and ideas to projects.
• You ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements such as PCI-DSS, security standards and architectural principles.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed training or studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in dealing with databases (ideally Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
• Team player with strong analytical skills as well as an independent and structured way of working.
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, understanding Swiss German is an advantage.
