Senior Application Engineer

Then become a Senior Application Engineer at Terravis and actively help shape how we develop intelligent, scalable solutions. As a leading digital platform, Terravis sets standards in cross-domain digital handling of real estate transactions and connects the financial industry, notarial and land registry sectors for secure, efficient, and legally compliant real estate processes. In your role as Senior Application Engineer, you will significantly contribute to digitising workflows and optimising end-to-end processes. This helps reduce paperwork, accelerate transactions, and sustainably strengthen collaboration within the Swiss real estate ecosystem.
These are your tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable BPMN and BPEL-based process flows
- Collaborate with domain owners to capture and analyse business requirements
- Implement and optimise solutions using the ActiveVOS Workflow Engine
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security in all developed solutions
What you bring with you
- Completed computer science education and 10+ years of experience in developing Java applications such as: Java, XML/JAXB, Spring, XQuery
- Experience in the practical application of BPMN and BPEL.
- Expertise in at least one workflow/process engine (e.g. ActiveVOS, Camunda, Flowable)
- Language skills in spoken and written German and English; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with integrating BPM engines into microservice or enterprise architectures is a plus
