Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
Are you confident navigating between strategy, politics, and communication? As Head of Public Affairs, you actively contribute to shaping the future electricity system and represent our interests at the national and international levels. In this exciting role, you will take on the following responsibilities and tasks:
- Together with your team, you develop the strategy to achieve the Public Affairs goals at the national and international levels, further develop it, and implement it successfully
- You monitor and analyze political developments, legislative initiatives, and debates at the national and European levels and derive courses of action for Swissgrid
- You coordinate Swissgrid's positioning on relevant topics and developments, prepare messages, statements, factsheets, and briefings
- You build sustainable networks with decision-makers from politics, administration, business, and associations and actively maintain them
- You design a strategic, long-term stakeholder management and ensure dialogue-oriented communication with relevant stakeholders
- You lead and optimize Swissgrid's committee management, ensure consistency in communication, and make sure that Swissgrid's positions are coordinated and effectively represented in relevant committees

- Several years of experience in public affairs, political consulting, or advocacy, ideally in the energy or infrastructure policy environment
- Good network with Swiss politicians, authorities, and associations; network in the energy sector and with European stakeholders is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of the political process in Switzerland, complemented by understanding of European developments
- Experience in building and managing stakeholder and committee management
- Several years of experience and proven track record in leadership positions
- Native-level German skills, very good French and good English skills
