Supply Chain Manager 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You bear the operational responsibility for continuous delivery capability and manage the entire end-to-end process - from procurement through inventory to logistics

• You drive the performance of the supply chain through appropriate metrics and KPI reporting and develop strategic processes and workflows together with management

• You take the lead in scouting new products and suppliers as well as in further developing the supplier portfolio including onboarding and audits

• Demand and sales planning in coordination with sales and product management as well as definition of minimum and safety stocks considering optimized capital commitment

• Price and contract negotiations, optimisation of logistics costs and development of purchasing strategies

• Take the opportunity to actively shape this newly created position and influence the future direction of the role

What do I need to be successful?

• Commercial training or degree focusing on purchasing or supply chain management

• Several years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, ideally in an industrial environment, with leadership or project management experience

• Solid know-how in operational and strategic procurement, contract negotiations as well as scheduling and demand determination

• Good ERP knowledge and confident handling of purchasing-relevant master data

• Analytical and reporting skills for evaluating supplier performance and inventory metrics

• Process-oriented thinking along the value chain as well as strong communication and coordination skills

• Good German and English skills, French is an advantage
