For this central interface function, we are looking for a person who does not view purchasing, AVOR and PPS separately, but connects them into a robust overall process. This position is aimed at people who take responsibility, achieve measurable improvements and consistently anchor solutions in day-to-day business.

Your Responsibilities

• Operational procurement of raw materials, components, merchandise and services including offer comparison, awarding and order processing
• Conducting demanding price, terms and contract negotiations with demonstrable economic results
• Selection, evaluation and further development of efficient suppliers as well as building reliable alternative sources
• Consistent monitoring of orders, delivery dates and material availability as well as independent handling of deviations, quality defects and complaints
• Production, capacity and utilisation planning as well as control and prioritisation of the manufacturing programme
• Ensuring material and resource availability while maintaining economical stock levels and minimising capital commitment
• Creation and maintenance of reliable work plans, master data and production-relevant documents
• Active responsibility in the introduction and further development of the new ERP/PPS system in your own department
• Digitalisation and optimisation of procurement, planning and material flow processes – including control to ensure improvements are implemented, adhered to and permanently anchored
• Close and binding collaboration with production, sales, technical, quality, logistics and finance departments

• ERP data, work plans and processes are correct, practical and permanently adhered to

Your Profile and Skills

• Technical or commercial basic training, ideally supplemented by further education in purchasing, supply chain, production planning or process management
• Several years of demonstrably successful experience in purchasing, AVOR and PPS or production planning in an industrial environment
• Proven successes in negotiations, supplier development, material availability or production control
• Very good knowledge of ERP/PPS systems; experience with an ERP implementation or comprehensive process digitalisation is a clear advantage
• Very good German and good English skills
• Analytical strength, assertiveness and a pronounced awareness of costs, quality and deadlines
• High personal responsibility: you recognise the need for action, make well-founded decisions and reliably see matters through to completion
