For over 200 years, GVZ Building Insurance Canton Zurich has insured all buildings in the Canton of Zurich against fire and natural hazard damage and is committed to protecting people, animals, and property through prevention and intervention. HEAD OF DEPARTMENT / HEAD OF PROJECTS 100%
How you can contribute with us
- Leading and developing a six-member team of project managers
- Managing and prioritizing the project portfolio according to strategy, risks, and available resources
- Further developing processes, tools, and methods related to project management together with the team
- Creating concise evaluations and analyses of the project portfolio
- Leading selected projects and actively contributing to achieving our goals
- Actively further developing the projects department and its role within the organization
What you bring with you
- University degree and advanced project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA Level C or higher, PRINCE2 Practitioner, HERMES Advanced, Scrum Professional)
- Many years of experience in leading demanding projects
- In-depth knowledge in managing project portfolios
- High leadership and social skills
- Quick comprehension, strong analytical skills, and a structured way of thinking and working
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex matters appropriately to the audience
- Proficient in using reporting and project management tools
- Strong affinity for IT and digital topics
- Fluent German in spoken and written form
