To strengthen our team in the Decoration department, we are looking from 01.01.2027, for a permanent contract, at the Sion site, for a motivated and committed person as Assistant Visual Merchandising Manager, 100%.
Your responsibilities
- You ensure a high level of execution of Visual Merchandising standards and guarantee the visual coherence of the store and windows.
- You work closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager, the Store Manager, the sales teams, and the Regional Manager.
- You ensure that the Visual Merchandising of your store is always aligned with the Visual Merchandising strategy as well as with the commercial orientations defined at central and local levels.
- You ensure the proper implementation of Visual Merchandising concepts, standards, and guidelines, thereby contributing to enhancing the customer experience and the store's commercial performance.
- You plan, coordinate, and manage Visual Merchandising activities while supporting and developing teams to guarantee excellent execution quality daily.
- You support the daily organisation of the Visual Merchandising team and contribute to the distribution of activities and priorities.
- You implement visual concepts across all areas: Non-Food, Food/supermarket, and, where applicable, restaurant.
- You apply presentation techniques and guidelines defined by the company and translate them into concrete actions on the ground.
- You ensure a neat, attractive, coherent, and customer-oriented product presentation.
- You transform sales data and field observations into concrete and operational merchandising actions.
- You accompany, guide, and motivate employees on the ground to ensure execution quality and compliance with standards.
- You are a role model on the ground and contribute to establishing a culture of excellence, collaboration, and results orientation.
Your profile
- You have solid experience as a Visual Merchandiser, ideally with initial experience in coordinating, supporting, or managing a team. Training such as Polydesigner 3D or Certified Decorator is an asset but not essential: we primarily value your experience and practical skills.
- You have a strong sensitivity to trends, style, fashion, and the product universe, as well as a genuine passion for this environment.
- You possess a good understanding of commercial challenges and know how to link Visual Merchandising, customer experience, and commercial performance.
- You are customer-oriented and can translate customer needs into relevant, creative, and commercial merchandising solutions.
- You have initiative, a sense of responsibility, and a strong results orientation.
- You master product staging creatively and commercially.
- You communicate clearly, openly, and collaboratively and enjoy teamwork.
- You demonstrate strong organisational skills, autonomy, and priority management in a dynamic environment.
- You manage stress calmly and effectively, especially during busy periods or unforeseen events.
- You are fluent in French, and proficiency in another national language is an asset.
