For one of our clients established in the canton of Fribourg and active in the mechanical and machinery industry, we are looking for a multiskilled mechanic. The position is based in the Fribourg region and is aimed at a person with a technical apprenticeship background. The role involves varied activities related to the manufacturing, assembly, and inspection of mechanical parts, within a structured production environment. The hired person will work closely with other mechanical specialists and will directly contribute to the quality of the delivered products. This opportunity suits a professional wishing to apply their practical skills and thoroughness in a demanding industrial context.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the machining of mechanical parts respecting the plans, tolerances, and defined production deadlines.
- Perform assembly, adjustment, and fine-tuning of mechanical assemblies according to instructions and internal procedures in force.
- Control the quality of produced parts using the measurement tools provided and document the results in a structured manner.
- Ensure first-level maintenance of the production equipment used, promptly reporting any observed anomalies or malfunctions.
- Always apply safety, hygiene, and order rules at the workstation to guarantee a safe and organised production environment.
Profile
- Completed apprenticeship in the field of mechanics or equivalent training considered.
- Strong interest in manufacturing, assembly, and inspection of mechanical parts.
- Conscientious, precise person attentive to important technical details.
- Ability to follow instructions and work according to defined procedures.
- Willingness to integrate sustainably into an industrial production environment in Fribourg.
