Starting from 01.11.2025 or by arrangement, we are looking for you as a valuable addition to the administration of the Information Management department at the Institute for Business Informatics (IWI) at the University of Bern!
Tasks
• Very broad range of tasks, including:
• Planning/budgeting of personnel and financial resources for the department and projects
• Coordination of new hires and all personnel changes
• Monthly financial controls
• Accounting of expense reports and invoices
• Monitoring of time records
• Maintaining content on the website
• Co-organizing events of the institute
• Procurement of materials and inventory management
Requirements
• Enrollment at a Swiss university mandatory
• Very good academic performance, preferably in a Business Administration major
• Completed first year of study (introductory study)
• Employment duration of at least 2 years desirable
• Very good German and English skills
• Initiative and committed personality
• Independence and teamwork ability
• Motivated and careful work
• Friendly and open demeanor
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
