Occupational safety is a top priority at ISS. In this versatile and exciting role, you will lead the Health & Safety department nationwide and enjoy a special position within the organization as a «Key Player».
With your passion for Health & Safety, you ensure that our employees return home healthy every evening. You minimize accident risks by implementing preventive measures and raising awareness in the field of occupational safety. You report directly to a member of the management team of ISS Switzerland and are part of our international network of specialists in occupational safety.
Your main tasks:
- Leading the Health & Safety department as part of the Operations Performance business unit
- Empowering leaders and regional safety partners in dealing with risks in occupational safety
- Developing initiatives and communication measures to reduce workplace accidents and suitable control measures
- Reporting key figures
- Continuous further development of the occupational safety system and integration of occupational safety aspects into the development of new service products
- Participating in cross-country best practice exchanges within the ISS group
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training or university degree
- Further training in occupational safety (at least specialist in occupational safety & health protection with federal diploma or equivalent qualification)
- Several years of professional experience in the field of Health & Safety in an SME or larger company, ideally in a specialist or managerial role
- Ability to communicate at C-level
- Strong problem-solving skills and stress resistance
- Experience in target group-oriented training and conveying occupational safety aspects
- Strong communication skills and confident appearance
- Fluent in German and English
