To strengthen our team in the wine and spirits sector, we are immediately looking for a motivated and committed person for a permanent position at the Geneva site as a 100% Wine Merchant.
Your responsibilities
- You warmly welcome our customers and actively engage with them in the wine department.
- You advise our discerning customers in the wine department.
- You are able to collaborate effectively with suppliers: liaise with their representatives, identify new references and contribute to negotiations as well as commercial operations.
- You are able to ensure restocking and order management to guarantee supply and availability of references by setting seasonal priorities.
- You are able to boost sales by participating in tastings, commercial events and promotional operations.
- You check that sales stands are complete and clean.
- You contribute to creating an elegant atmosphere in the store.
- You provide support in other adjacent departments if necessary.
Your profile
- You have in-depth knowledge in the field of wine.
- You have preferably completed further training as a sommelier.
- You have experience in sales or catering.
- You have already managed supplier relations, restocking and orders, and contributed to boosting sales (tastings, events, promotions).
- You love wine.
- You are able to work in a team and enjoy direct contact with customers.
- You radiate positive energy and have a neat appearance.
- You speak French fluently and preferably know another national language.
