Job Description
Your daily tasks & responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities – Group Level
- Prepare consolidated monthly and annual financial statements of the AMAC Group in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER
- Support in the preparation of budgets, business plans, and regular forecasts
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors
- Enhance reporting processes across subsidiaries
- Improve intercompany reconciliation and matching
- Maintain, update, and enhance the internal control system (ICS) at group level
- Support the Manager Finance & Controlling in various tasks
- Contribute to improvements of the group accounting manual
- Provide support to subsidiaries on accounting-related matters
- Contribute to various financial projects with potential responsibility ownership
Primary Responsibilities – Swiss Subsidiary
- Prepare monthly closing for the Swiss subsidiary in collaboration with Accounting
- Prepare annual statutory financial statements of the main Swiss entity
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors
- Manage SERV and bank guarantees
- Prepare VAT declarations and act as internal contact for VAT-related topics
- Assist with tax-related matters
- Support preparation of budgets, business plans, and regular forecasts
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Business Intelligence tools
The expertise you have & skills you bring
- Swiss Certified fiduciary/accounting specialist (Fachausweis Treuhänder/Buchhalter), Swiss Certified Expert in Accounting & Controlling, or university degree in economics/finance (university/college), or equivalent qualification in Switzerland
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting and controlling in Switzerland
- Strong knowledge in accounting, cost calculation, and percentage-of-completion (POC) valuation
- Practical experience with Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss Code of Obligations is a must
- Service-oriented, proactive personality with strong initiative
- Fluency in English and German; French knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, international environment
- Willingness to travel and visit subsidiaries
- Experience with Lucanet and Abacus is an asset
- Advanced Excel skills
