Role:
In the role of consolidation specialist, you actively shape the financial future of a company and contribute to a sustainable success story. In this role, you are responsible for the preparation, analysis, and consolidation of group financial statements according to relevant accounting standards and ensure high data quality. You are responsible for the ongoing optimisation of processes in group accounting and bring in your expertise and experience. In addition, you act as a competent contact person for internal stakeholders on complex issues related to group financial statements. Through your professional conduct, you make a significant contribution to transparency, reliability, and further development of the finance department.
Responsibilities:
- You prepare group reporting as well as the financial part of annual and semi-annual reports according to IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER.
- In this role, you contribute to group-wide reports such as remuneration and corporate governance reports.
- As a consolidation specialist, you support international subsidiaries and corporate functions with accounting, valuation, documentation, and reporting issues.
- You analyse new or changed IFRS requirements and coordinate their implementation throughout the group.
- In this role, you act as the central contact person for the audit firm and coordinate external audits at group and individual financial statement levels, including audit-relevant documentation.
- You drive the standardisation, automation, and continuous optimisation of reporting and closing processes and support M&A transactions, for example with board proposals, financial due diligence, and company valuations.
Qualifications:
- You hold a federal diploma as a certified public accountant or CPA.
- Your pronounced analytical strength, high numerical understanding, and attention to detail distinguish you.
- An independent, structured, and responsible way of working is natural for you.
- You bring solid IFRS knowledge and are interested in complex accounting and reporting topics.
- In international collaboration, you communicate convincingly and appropriately for the audience.
- A high standard of quality as well as enthusiasm for process optimisation, digitalisation, and automation complete your profile.
