Job Description
On behalf of a recently opened specialised clinic in Lausanne, we are looking for a certified medical assistant for a temporary assignment with the prospect of a permanent 80% position. The start date is scheduled for 10/08/2026.
In this versatile role, you will contribute to the smooth daily operation of the clinic by providing professional reception to patients, quality medical support, and rigorous administrative management. You will work within a small-scale structure where organisation, autonomy, and a service-oriented mindset are essential.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Welcome patients with tact, professionalism, and kindness, ensuring their orientation and the smooth flow of their care.
- Perform technical tasks related to medical assistance, including blood sampling, preparation of materials, and assisting with the smooth running of consultations.
- Carry out administrative tasks related to the clinic's activity, such as managing patient files, data entry, appointment scheduling, and follow-up of medical documents.
- Manage the clinic's mini laboratory, ensuring preparation, control, and proper organisation of materials and samples in compliance with current procedures.
- Participate in the general organisation of the clinic and collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure efficient, orderly, and patient-focused operations.
- Contribute, according to your skills, to performing extended radiology examinations, which is an important asset for the position and for the development of the activity.
- Ensure cleanliness, availability, and compliance of spaces, equipment, and consumables to maintain a reliable and pleasant working environment.
- Strictly apply hygiene, confidentiality, and safety rules specific to a medical practice.
Profile Sought
For this position, we are looking for a person holding a certified medical assistant diploma and confirmed experience in a medical environment, ideally in a practice. Knowledge of rheumatology or a specialised environment is a valuable advantage.
We expect from you:
- A solid mastery of common medical assistance acts, including blood sampling, preparation of materials, and management of a mini laboratory.
- Good administrative skills, with ease in managing patient files, scheduling, and using common IT tools.
- Knowledge of extended radiology, considered a real asset for this role.
- Excellent organisation, a keen sense of priorities, and the ability to work methodically in a developing environment.
- A professional, discreet, and service-oriented attitude, with clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Autonomy, versatility, and responsiveness to adapt to a recent structure and evolving processes.
- A good team spirit, reliability, and great rigour in applying medical and administrative procedures.
- Availability for an 80% activity rate and the ability to commit long-term, as the assignment is expected to lead to a permanent position.
