What is my role?

Our client is looking for a head of the HR department who actively shapes personnel work in a successful Swiss manufacturing company. In this position, you lead a motivated team of several employees and ensure that HR is perceived as a strategic partner.

Overview of tasks:

• Leadership and professional as well as personal development of the HR team with the aim of creating an environment in which everyone can thrive

• Further development of the HR strategy together with management and implementation of concrete measures

• Ensuring smooth, professional and service-oriented HR processes, from onboarding to offboarding

• Advising managers as a trusted sparring partner on all personnel matters

• Driving digitalisation and optimisation of HR processes using modern tools for leaner and more efficient procedures

• Design, implementation and change support of exciting HR projects

• Occasional travel to a sister site in a neighbouring country

What do I need to be successful?

You bring a solid HR education. Whether as an HR specialist, HR manager or a comparable qualification. More important than the title, however, is your practical experience and your personality.

What distinguishes you:

• Several years of experience in a versatile HR role, ideally in a manufacturing environment or an owner-managed company

• You have already led a team and know how to inspire and develop people

• Solid knowledge of Swiss labour law and social security is part of your toolkit; knowledge of German labour law is a plus

• You are at home in payroll and time management and enjoy digital HR systems

• Your working style is pragmatic, solution-oriented and hands-on

• You lead with authenticity, transparency and a healthy dose of humanity
