Every day, the maintenance team ensures that the installations, buildings and equipment operate reliably and that operations run smoothly. In the internal maintenance of our installations and buildings, you take on a responsible task of great importance for the entire operation. Thanks to your expertise and commitment, you ensure that the necessary installations function without failure at all times. With us, team spirit, collaboration and mutual support are at the heart of priorities. You work closely with experienced colleagues who actively share their knowledge and provide concrete support.

What you can make move.

• You ensure the operational availability of the entire technical infrastructure and enable reliable operation of the installations.
• Through maintenance and inspection work on installations and buildings, you contribute significantly to their reliable availability.
• You are also responsible for monitoring and coordinating external service providers who carry out warranty or maintenance work on the installations they have delivered in our workshop and service centre.
• You analyse faults in pneumatic, hydraulic and electromechanical systems using technical descriptions, diagrams, operating and usage data, measuring and testing devices as well as SAP data.
• You occasionally write instructions and documentation, thus supporting knowledge sharing within the team.
• Depending on your interests and skills, you may stand in for the planner or team leader in their absence.

What you bring.

• Do you value task variety, autonomy and technical challenges, and enjoy maintenance work?
• You can confidently read technical diagrams and documents or are willing to acquire this skill.
• You have already gained several years of professional experience for this demanding activity.
• You hold an initial professional qualification (CFC/EFZ) as a microtechnology mechanic, electrical technician, automation technician, plant and apparatus constructor or a comparable qualification.
• Additional training as a maintenance specialist is an advantage.
• Ideally, you already have the installation authorisation according to Art. 15 or are willing to obtain it.
• You have excellent oral and written knowledge of German and/or French.

We have a fair and progressive salary system and are actively committed to pay equality. Therefore, additional detailed information about the SBB salary system can be viewed transparently.
