Employee for Forestry Training and State Forest Staff
The Forest Department at the Office for Landscape and Nature is responsible for the protection and sustainable care and use of the forest. With near-natural forest management, the State Forest Section creates quality of life for the population and habitats for wildlife and plants, and ensures forestry training and further education in the canton with a small team.
Your tasks
- You support the training manager in organising and conducting inter-company courses and qualification procedures
- In the absence of the training manager, you are the contact person for apprentices, trainers and forest workers regarding questions about basic and further training in the forestry sector
- You participate in the organisation of the working world (OdA) Forest Zurich and Schaffhausen
- According to your qualifications, you support the State Forest and Training Section with scheduled projects, current issues and data collection or environmental education
Your profile
- Completion of higher forestry education (university of applied sciences or forestry school) or comparable qualification
- Experience and enthusiasm in the field of forestry training
- Initiative, collegial and reliable working style
- Good IT skills
- Fluent verbal communication
