Head of Finance, Controlling & Risk Management 80-100% (m/f/d)

For this key central position as a member of the extended management team, we are looking for a person who understands numbers as well as people and who wishes to combine entrepreneurial responsibility with a meaningful task.
Your responsibilities
- You bear overall responsibility for finance and accounting and ensure reliable accounting in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER, ZEWO, and cantonal requirements.
- You are responsible for budgeting, financial planning, and controlling, creating meaningful decision-making bases for management and executives.
- You keep an eye on liquidity, financing, and funding requirements and advise our departments.
- You constructively question existing processes and develop clear and efficient financial processes together with the involved parties.
- You are responsible for risk management and further develop the risk portfolio.
- You jointly manage Altra’s insurance portfolio with our broker.
- You lead the finance and controlling department both in terms of personnel and expertise.
- You support management with financial and economic issues in dealings with the canton, authorities, and other stakeholders.
- You take responsibility for data protection within Altra.
Your profile
- You have a solid education in finance and accounting or controlling.
- You bring many years of experience in finance and accounting as well as controlling.
- You have leadership experience and enjoy providing guidance to people and developing solutions together.
- You think analytically and entrepreneurially and keep the overall picture in mind even with differing interests.
- You can explain complex financial contexts clearly and represent your professional assessment clearly and convincingly.
- You have experience in leading and implementing projects.
- You are interested in Altra’s social mission and wish to combine economic professionalism with social responsibility.
