Who we are
For over sixty years, the Solothurn Film Festival has annually presented a selection of current Swiss films. The festival is a driving force of Swiss film culture as well as a place of encounter and exchange between audiences and filmmakers from all parts of the country. For the 62nd edition from 20 – 27 January 2027, the Solothurn Film Festival offers an internship position in Communication and Marketing (90%) providing the opportunity for an in-depth insight into the communication tasks of a cultural organisation as well as the preparations and execution of a film festival.- Workplace Solothurn

Tasks
The internship includes the following areas of responsibility:• Collaboration in editorial work and management of social media channels before and during the festival
• Support in editing and producing various communication materials (e.g. programme booklet, editorial publications on the Film Festival website, newsletter)
• Collaboration on the website (DE / FR) using CMS
• Support in media work before and during the festival
• Administrative tasks in other areas of the organisation (e.g. updating the festival database, telephone service, others)
Requirements
We expect:• an open, committed and resilient personality
• confident German native speaker as well as good knowledge of the festival’s other main language (French)
• organisational skills, initiative and independent thinking
• early experience in managing social media channels, flair for multimedia publishing (especially video content) and text (online and print)
• increased availability and flexibility from early November to the end of January; during the entire internship, the workload varies between 60 and 120% depending on phase/month.
• interest in Swiss film production
We offer:

• gross salary of CHF 2,000 per month (at 100%), plus 13th month salary (pro rata)
Remarks
The internship is aimed at students or graduates of communication, language or film studies, multimedia producing or marketing.
