At our development centre in Wil, we realise products for leading, forward-looking companies. We support our international clients with innovations, new technologies, and transfer product developments into series production and approvals. To strengthen our "Health & Life Sciences" team, we are looking for you.

Area of Responsibility

Together with the qualified engineering team of scientists and industrial designers, you lead extensive developments in the field of medical applications and pharmaceutical therapies. You lead the project team and are responsible for the technical implementations as well as the applications of device and system developments used on and for patients. Expertise and a high quality awareness are central to your daily work. In the project team, you support internal and external contacts, from the idea to series maturity, for globally active corporations, SMEs, and start-ups.

You lead interdisciplinary and international project teams and work closely with our employees and clients. Thanks to your knowledge, creativity, and experience, you accompany client projects from the concept through the design and prototype phase to product verification. Your enthusiasm and confident manner help you convince clients of our solutions. In doing so, you think and act entrepreneurially, are resilient, and have a pragmatic working style. Due to international contacts and the preparation of controlled documentation, you are fluent in English for negotiations.

Requirements

• University degree in a technical field (ETH / EPFL / FH / TU)
• Broad technical knowledge with several years of development experience in the field of medical or pharmaceutical technology
• Several years of experience leading interdisciplinary and international project teams as well as technical specialist areas and engineering disciplines
• You are strong in finding solutions to conceptual questions, work systematically, and have a pronounced understanding of systems
• Experience in product development according to EN ISO 13485. Additional knowledge of MDR, IVDR, GMP, and software development according to IEC 62304 would be appreciated
• Passion for your profession and enjoyment of diverse, varied tasks
• Entrepreneurial personality with high social and communication skills as well as enjoyment of collaboration in an interdisciplinary project team
• Good German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Openness towards your contacts to convey your expertise and experience
