About the job
The university hospital offers comprehensive care for patients with musculoskeletal complaints. The Department of Chiropractic Medicine provides conservative treatment options for the musculoskeletal system with a focus on back pain. In the orthopaedic emergency department, there is the opportunity to gain broad insight into the entire emergency orthopaedic and trauma initial diagnosis and treatment. The aim is to become familiar with both conservative and surgical treatment options.
In collaboration between the Department of Chiropractic Medicine and the orthopaedic emergency department, we offer a hospital rotation for chiropractors in training.
Possible time slots are: 1 March–30 June, 1 July–31 October, 1 November–28 February

Hospital Rotation Chiropractic/Emergency for Chiropractors in Training (m/f/d) 80-100 %
Your tasks
- On 2 days per week, you are jointly responsible for chiropractic patient care in our outpatient clinic and look after your personal patients with musculoskeletal complaints
- On 2 to 3 days per week, together with the emergency team, you cover the care of emergency patients, in close cooperation with the highly specialised orthopaedic teams
Your profile
- Federal state examination in chiropractic
- You wish to further your education in various orthopaedic disciplines
- You value interdisciplinary work and use it for the needs and concerns of people with musculoskeletal complaints
- Quality and sense of responsibility, flexibility
- German language skills, at least level B2

- You complete the mandatory 4-month hospital rotation for chiropractic training to obtain the title of specialist chiropractor
- The training programme includes case discussions, presentations, and feedback from mentors. Additionally, on the days of the emergency rotation, a morning orthopaedic curriculum training takes place
