Shunting Specialist
Tasks
- Coordination and organisation of assigned jobs and shunting operations
- Coordination and organisation of train arrivals and departures
- Control of shunting locomotives to ensure timely train dispatch, rail wagon shunting
- Monitoring of assigned equipment and reporting in case of incidents
- Operational assistance with shunting
- Professional leadership of personnel
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements
- Correct handling of digital yard systems
- Feedback and support with complaints
Requirements
- Completed training as a shunter is mandatory, combined with initial professional experience in the mentioned areas of responsibility
- Strong organisational talent and interconnected thinking
- Good physical condition and a high sense of responsibility
- High reliability as well as a professional and solution-oriented approach
- Experienced use of modern communication tools and digital systems
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Willingness to work shifts (Monday to Saturday including public holidays)
