About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain initial or additional experience in housekeeping during a fixed-term assignment of 6 - 12 months starting 1 January 2027 at the Neumarkt Retirement Home.
Your Tasks
- Maintenance and basic cleaning of residents' rooms, public areas, and sanitary facilities
- Proper use of various cleaning machines, after training
- Laundry preparation for our residents
Your Profile
- Good German language skills and good understanding of the Swiss dialect
- Enjoyment of physical and responsible work
- Helpful personality with pleasure in working with elderly people
- Team player, reliable and responsible
- Willingness to work weekend shifts
