The Animal Nutrition division is part of ADM’s global Nutrition business, alongside our Human Nutrition and Health & Wellness divisions. The Global Animal Nutrition R&D team focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies and science-based solutions for the animal nutrition industry.
We are looking for a Poultry R&D Segment Leader to join our team in Rolle, Switzerland. Reporting to the Vice President of Animal Nutrition R&D, you will play a key role in driving innovation and developing science-based products that differentiate ADM in the market.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the poultry research segment pipeline by leveraging ADM capabilities to deliver a unique poultry research program.

Exploring new concepts, ideas, and technologies to expand our innovation portfolio.

Planning and executing the research pipeline in alignment with the global Animal Nutrition R&D strategy.
Your Responsibilities

Manage the R&D project pipeline for the Poultry segment, from concept to commercial implementation.

Collaborate closely with global Animal Nutrition leaders, key poultry stakeholders, and R&D colleagues across other species.

Align the poultry R&D pipeline with regional business strategies by engaging with Poultry business teams.

Oversee and support poultry project leaders in executing prioritized projects.

Serve as the scientific authority for poultry R&D projects.

Directly lead selected poultry R&D projects.

Actively scout innovation and technology opportunities in collaboration with key ADM stakeholders.

Identify and develop key capabilities to support the global Poultry business through partnerships with internal and external teams.

Promote ADM Animal Nutrition poultry research through scientific communication, including publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference participation, and business support.
Your Profile

Ph.D. in Poultry Science, Animal Sciences, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in poultry research (nutrition, production systems, health) and feed ingredient development.

Strong scientific background with a curiosity for business and a customer-focused mindset.

Proven track record of transforming ideas into commercially viable products, services, and nutritional solutions.

Flexible approach to new opportunities and novel perspectives.

Excellent communication skills, able to interact with diverse technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong written and oral scientific communication skills.

Fluency in English.

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a global context.

Ability to work independently while reporting regularly to management.
