Your activities
In your activities, you will be required to:
- Lead applied economics research projects in close collaboration with the center directors;
- Automate the production of research results in close collaboration with the UNIL Computing and Research Support Division (DSCR);
- Participate in applied economics research mandates on behalf of public institutions or companies;
- Contribute to the training of young researchers in data science applied to economic research
Your profile
To complete our team, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- Master's degree in quantitative economics, data science, or equivalent field;
- Experience in applied economics research, macroeconomic and econometric modeling as well as data science (minimum 3 years post-master);
- Strong knowledge in these scientific fields;
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects and different topics in parallel;
- Excellent command of tools used in data science, macroeconomic modeling, and econometrics (R, Python, MATLAB);
- Excellent written and oral expression in French and English.
