This is the job - Your main tasks

• Conceptualisation and further development of solution and overall architectures at the levels of data, application and technology architecture
• Design of cloud and data platform architectures in the public cloud environment, especially based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric
• Design of microservice, integration and event-based architectures as well as interfaces with JSON and XML
• Documentation of architectures using common methods and standards such as UML, arc42, ArchiMate or comparable templates 
• Consulting and coordination with customers, project teams and management as well as moderation of architecture decisions in agile delivery setups
• Collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams in the use of container platforms, Kubernetes, platform-as-a-service and modern operating models
• Consideration of security, data protection and governance requirements as well as support in complex integration projects, especially in the public or federal environment

This job is for you if

• you have a completed computer science degree at tertiary level, e.g. ETH/Uni, FH, Bachelor, Master or a comparable qualification, and are also certified as a Certified Professional for Software Architecture, for example with iSAQB or a comparable qualification.
• you have several years of experience as a solution, software or enterprise architect and have successfully designed and documented complex architectures.
• you have sound knowledge in data analytics, DWH, data mesh and data platforms and are also confident in the field of data science and have already used Spark practically.
• you have several years of experience in the public cloud environment, especially with Microsoft Azure, ideally also with Microsoft Fabric, and additionally hold a certification as an Azure Solutions Architect Expert or a comparable qualification.
• you have practical experience with microservices, event-based architectures, interface design and container platforms, especially with Kubernetes, and collaboration with DevOps teams is natural to you.
• you have experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM and/or SAFe and are characterised by strong communication, negotiation and customer-oriented collaboration skills.
• you have very good German skills as your primary working language and good English skills and ideally already have experience in integration projects in the federal environment as well as knowledge in cyber security and data protection assessments.

As a cherry on top, you bring

• ideally a TOGAF certification
• advantageously a certification in HERMES Advanced 2022
