The city administration is the administrative hub of the city council and the city administration. It provides services for both the city administration and the population. Here, the threads between politics, administration, and the public come together. It coordinates, directs, and accompanies the exciting processes of Aarburg's political operations. Your main tasks
- Preparation and follow-up of city council meetings and community assemblies (including drafting and editing proposals and message texts)
- Professional support for the city administration in processing political matters
- Preparation and execution of votes and elections
- Handling of the broad daily business including contact with the population (telephone and counter service)
- Management of the (electronic) city archive (document storage and filing)
- Participation in various working groups and projects Your strengths
- CAS Public Community Level II - Professional competence as a municipal clerk in Aargau or willingness to complete the training
- Strong flair and enjoyment in writing appealing and demanding
- Affinity for social media and experience in dealing with various communication channels
- Knowledge of the specialist application CMI and experience with CMS
- Quick comprehension as well as a structured and independent working style
