Nursing Expert APN Clinical Nurse Specialist

As a Nursing Expert APN Clinical Nurse Specialist, you accompany complex patient situations focusing on respiration and ventilation, spinal medicine, and paraplegic medicine. You support teams in clinical daily routines, bring scientific findings into practice, and further develop nursing together with the specialist departments.

These are your tasks

• You advise nurses and interprofessional teams in complex patient situations and work closely with APNs, nursing specialists, and other experts
• You conduct in-depth nursing assessments and support clinical decisions
• You strengthen clinical reasoning and nursing competence through coaching and expert input
• You accompany patients along the treatment pathway from acute care to rehabilitation
• You bring research results into practice and contribute to standards and concepts
• You identify development potentials and initiate improvements in care quality

This is what distinguishes you

• Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) or comparable qualification with a focus on Advanced Nursing Practice
• Extensive clinical experience in a complex acute, rehabilitation, or specialised care area
• Broad nursing interest and willingness to further develop expertise in different clinical specialities
• Strong clinical judgement and enthusiasm for clinical reasoning
• Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration as well as advising, coaching, and knowledge transfer
