Do you want to actively shape the digitalisation of an internationally operating industrial company and bring together people, processes and technologies? Then a versatile specialist and leadership role with plenty of scope for design and sustainable impact awaits you.
In this key role, you lead a team of five employees and are responsible for the further development of our business-critical applications – including sales and product configurators, CRM solutions, customer portals, as well as their integration into the existing system landscape.
In doing so, you work at the interface between business and IT, drive the modernisation of existing applications and actively shape the future application architecture.
- Technical and personnel leadership of the IT application team
- Further development, operation and support of central business applications
- Strategic further development of the application landscape with a focus on future viability and scalability
- Modernisation of existing systems and support of technological transformation
- Analysis, prioritisation and implementation of business requirements
- Assuming a product-owner-adjacent role as a link between business and IT
- Ensuring software quality, security and sustainable architectural decisions
- Experience in leading or technically managing development or smaller application teams
- Sound knowledge in developing modern web applications with Java, Spring Boot and full-stack technologies
- Experience in software architecture, system integration and application lifecycle management
- Understanding of modern development processes, CI/CD and application security
- Sound knowledge in secure coding and code security as well as a good understanding of secure software architectures
- Experience with mature application landscapes and their modernisation
