Your main tasks
- Prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of amblyopia, strabismus, eye movement disorders, and neurologically induced visual impairments
- You examine people of all ages
- Pre- and postoperative examinations for eye muscle surgeries
- Knowledge of subjective and objective refraction determination is an advantage
Your profile
- Diploma in orthoptics as well as solid orthoptic, strabological, and neuro-ophthalmological knowledge in theory and practice
- You are communicative, accustomed to independent and service-oriented work, as well as resilient, conscientious, and flexible
- You enjoy working in a team
- You are committed to professional development
- You have an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Very good German skills. Foreign language skills are an advantage

You will work in an innovative team of several orthoptists and ophthalmologists at the University Hospital Zurich, Department of Paediatric Ophthalmology, Strabology and Rare Diseases. We offer you a varied and challenging role in an exciting environment within a university setting. You have regular working hours (Monday to Friday).
