Join us in working towards a more humane world!
The department Digital Solutions, Data Management Division MK is looking for a personality as a Data & Digital Analyst (m/f/d) 80% immediately or by arrangement.
The data management team makes the digital impact of the Swiss Red Cross measurable. We operate a modern data landscape — from web analytics through cloud data warehouse to CRM integrations — and provide data-driven impulses for fundraising and digital communication.
What you can achieve
- Responsibility for web analytics, reporting and tracking (GA4, Looker Studio, Grafana): development of dashboards, analysis of user behaviour, customer journeys and performance
- Definition, technical implementation and quality assurance of tracking including data protection and consent requirements according to the nDSG (e.g. consent mode, cookie banner)
- Analysis, interpretation and clear presentation of web and usage data including derivation of concrete recommendations for action for operational and strategic issues
- Data-driven planning, control and optimisation of the Swiss Red Cross's digital activities
- Consulting and support for internal stakeholders and Red Cross member organisations: analysing requirements, deriving measures and accompanying implementation; central contact person (SPOC) for web analytics and tracking including coordination with agencies
- Further development of the analysis and tracking landscape, including data architecture, reporting systems, tracking setups and A/B testing
What you bring with you
- Completed university of applied sciences or higher vocational education in computer science, business informatics or related field with a focus on statistics/data analysis; further training in data science is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in web analytics, tracking implementation as well as in building and operating dashboards and reporting
- Confident handling of GA4, tracking concepts, SQL as well as modern analysis and visualisation tools
- Basic understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake) and CRM data structures (e.g. Salesforce) is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, high data affinity as well as confidence in dealing with complex data and customer journeys
- High quality and service orientation, flexibility and resilience as well as a cross-team, independent and goal-oriented way of working
- Excellent German skills (C1/C2) as well as good French and English skills (B2)
What awaits you with us
- An extraordinary field of activity with plenty of scope for design in a modern analytics and data landscape (including GA4, Looker Studio, Grafana, Snowflake, dbt)
- A collegial and appreciative working environment
- Modern office premises within walking distance of the station
- Possibility for part-time remote work
