About the job
Your Tasks:
In this versatile role, you take on the operational responsibility for the payroll accounting of several group companies (approx. 750 employees). You will perform the following tasks:
- Independent execution of monthly payroll runs (hourly and monthly wages)
- Management of entries and exits including master data maintenance
- Administration of social insurances (AHV, BVG, child allowances, withholding tax, etc.) including processing of sickness and accident daily allowances, maternity insurances as well as EO settlements
- Preparation of withholding tax and social insurance declarations, salary certificates as well as annual closing tasks via ELM
- Competent contact person for internal and external partners regarding payroll and social insurance topics
- Administrative support of accident and illness cases including ensuring correct billing
- Close cooperation with the financial accounting department for reconciliations
- Support in HR budgeting and annual audits
- Development and further advancement of various internal Abacus projects - hinge function
- Assistance in HR administration and participation in various HR projects
Your Profile:
- Completed commercial training as well as further education in payroll or fiduciary
- Several years of proven experience in independently managing payroll accounting and Swiss social insurances
- Understanding of the connections between payroll and financial accounting
- High IT and system affinity and very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Confident handling of Abacus payroll accounting
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
- Service-oriented personality with team spirit and high resilience
- Reliability and discretion are a matter of course for you
- Motivation to learn new things and actively contribute
