Social Educator ES/HES or Nurse (M/F/D) On a 6-month fixed-term contract between 60% and 90% - EPSM La Colombière

The Saphir Foundation, a multi-mission and multi-site foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people weakened in their physical and mental integrity during their life process.

To complete our support team, we are looking for the following profile for our establishment in Hermenches, which accommodates 15 people and specialises in adult psychiatry:

Whatever their role, the professionals of the Saphir Foundation share a common will, that of supporting people daily to enable them to concretely experience the institutional service strategy "like at home". That is to say, to preserve their habits as much as possible, to offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through genuine interprofessional collaboration, to enable the well-being and happiness of the people.

Within our establishment, you support adults with mental disorders, taking into account their needs, resources and support plan. You contribute to creating a safe, stimulating and caring environment that promotes their autonomy, participation and quality of life.

As part of individualised support, this position is dedicated to the follow-up of a person with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as well as a mild intellectual disability. You play a central role in their reception, integration within the establishment and daily support, ensuring a safe, structured and adapted environment to their needs. You promote their autonomy, inclusion and well-being, in close collaboration with the interprofessional team.

As a social educator ES/HES or nurse, you participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of the individualised support plan. You adapt your interventions to the person’s needs, ensure regular monitoring of their progress and contribute to the coordination of actions with the various professionals involved.

YOUR BACKGROUND - YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS

• You hold a diploma as a social educator ES/HES or nurse HES.

• You have experience in supporting people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

• You show a strong interest in supporting people living with mental disorders in adult psychiatry.

• You demonstrate empathy, patience and an attitude centred on the person’s needs and resources.

• You have a sense of organisation, responsibility and appreciate working in an interprofessional team.

• You are able to build a trusting relationship and provide individualised long-term support.

• You are flexible, able to adapt to varied situations and show initiative.

• You are proficient in French (spoken and written) as well as common IT tools.

• You hold a valid driving licence.
