About the role and responsibilities
You are a specialist in low voltage circuit breakers and want to apply your expertise in Western Switzerland? As a Service Technician at ABB, you carry out maintenance, inspections and repairs on modern circuit breakers and ensure that our customers' critical infrastructure runs reliably. You work directly on site and build long-term customer relationships.

This role is part of electrification, service across Switzerland.
Employment possibility in Morges available.
You will be mainly responsible for:
- Maintenance & Inspection: Performing maintenance, inspection and repair work on low voltage circuit breakers
- Fault analysis & troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults and resolving failures
- Customer discussions: Advising and communicating with customers on site, documentation and reporting
- Quality assurance: Adhering to the highest quality and safety standards in all work
- Documentation: Creating service reports and technical documents
- Teamwork: Collaborating with internal teams and sharing best practices
- Customer care: Needs analysis with customers and identifying business opportunities
Qualifications for the role
- Completed training as an electrical installer, electrician or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in maintenance and servicing of circuit breakers
- Solid knowledge of low voltage technology and electrical engineering
- Fluent French (required for customer care in Western Switzerland)
- Good English skills, German an advantage
- Driving licence category B and willingness to work in Western Switzerland
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Extensive experience with ABB circuit breakers, in particular:
- Emax 2.2 – 2.6
- Emax X1
- New Emax
- T-Max series
- Other low voltage breakers and protection devices
- Certifications and training on ABB products
- Experience in customer consulting and building customer relationships
- Knowledge in prevention and optimisation of system failures
- Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities
