INSTITUTION PRESENTATION

At the Penthaz Children’s Home, we welcome children and adolescents presenting psycho-affective, relational and developmental vulnerabilities, which make family life and social integration difficult. We offer comprehensive educational support, integrating individual, family, school and social dimensions, based on a committed, thoughtful and containing educational presence.

Our institution is organised around two distinct living groups: a children’s group welcoming children aged 4 to 12 years and an adolescent group welcoming young people aged 12 to 16 years.

The position offered is part of the children’s group, opened on 1 July 2026, which has since gradually begun welcoming children. In this new stage of its development, we wish to complete the educational team in order to continue consolidating the educational project, daily benchmarks and team dynamics.

We are therefore looking for a social educator at 90% wishing to invest in children aged 4 to 12 years and take an active part in the development of this living group, within a dynamic, reflective and participative institutional approach.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON

• Qualified in social education (ES, HES or SEFRI recognition for foreign diplomas).
• Motivated, demanding, reliable, cheerful and creative.
• Open-minded, showing initiative and humour.
• With experience in supporting children aged 4 to 12 years in an institutional context.
• Wishing to join a recently opened group and actively contribute to consolidating its functioning, benchmarks and team dynamics.
• With a strong interest in multidisciplinary team and network work.
• Capable of taking a step back, introspection and analysing their professional practice.
• Able to confront, cultivate relationships through presence and mutual recognition.
• Possessing strong interpersonal skills, fostering an educational relationship based on presence, listening, authenticity and mutual recognition, including in group facilitation and work with families.
• With systemic training (an asset).
• Holding a driving licence.
