Head of Education, Member of the Executive Board (80–100%)

The Swiss Pharmacists Association pharmaSuisse is the professional association of pharmacists in Switzerland. We represent the interests of our members towards politics, authorities, partner organizations, and the public, and actively shape the future of community pharmacy.

Your responsibilities

• Strategic leadership of the Education Department: development and implementation of pharmaSuisse's education strategy,

including medium- and long-term planning and continuous further development of the offerings.

• Personnel management and team development: leadership and promotion of the employees of the Education Department, including

goal setting, performance evaluation, recruitment, and ensuring a healthy working environment.

• Project management: planning, control, and implementation of strategic and operational education projects, including resource and

quality management.

• Advocacy: representation of pharmaSuisse towards universities, authorities, professional associations, and

other partners.

• Participation in the Executive Board: active involvement in the overall strategic development of pharmaSuisse,

including interdisciplinary collaboration and collective responsibility for the association's strategy.

Your profile

• University degree (Master's or equivalent) in pharmacy, education management, healthcare, or related

disciplines.

• Several years of leadership experience in strategic roles, ideally in healthcare related to education

or in an association.

• Solid pharmaceutical expertise and experience in education development are advantageous.
• Strong strategic and operational leadership skills combined with enthusiasm for innovation and change management.
• Strong communication skills, team orientation, and conflict resolution ability.
• Fluent in German or French with very good knowledge of the other language; Italian is an advantage.
• Digital competence in handling learning platforms, collaboration tools, and project management software.
