Head of Purchasing in the Food Retail Sector 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Leading a team, developing employees and structuring processes and workflows

• Negotiating the best terms with suppliers

• Managing import, logistics and customs clearance

• Responsibility for the strategic procurement of food, beverages and commercial products - locally and internationally

• Responsibility for master data maintenance of all purchasing and sales items in the system, including cash register configuration and price maintenance

• Monitoring markets, recognising trends and risks

What do I need to be successful?

• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the food industry

• Leadership experience with genuine leadership understanding

• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen

• Knowledge of import, customs and international sourcing

• Confident handling of ERP systems
