Application Centre Technician
Healthy, safe and sustainable nutrition is more than a trend for you – it’s your drive? In our Milling Solutions division in Uzwil, you work at the interface of food technology, process development and application. As an Application Centre Technician, you are responsible for mechanical maintenance, installation of prototypes, logistics and supporting the execution of customer and basic trials.
This is where you will excel
- You support customer trials and development projects, especially in setting up prototypes, conducting trials and partly in supervising test units at customers
- You are responsible for raw material logistics and assist with trials
- You take care of the maintenance of equipment and laboratory infrastructure
- Dismantling and cleaning of trial facilities after trial execution is a matter of course for you
These are the required skills
- Completed mechanical training as a polymechanic, mechanic or assembler
- Several years of experience in the assembly of machines and systems
- Very good communication skills in German and English combined with a confident and competent manner, additional languages are an advantage
- Independent and responsible working style as well as strong team skills
- Strong customer orientation, high flexibility and above-average commitment to meeting demanding customer requirements (with a maximum travel activity of 5-10%)
